About Old Soul Coffee Co.
Old Soul Coffee Company was born out of faith, family, and a love for slowing down. From a young age, I was taught the value of hard work—whether through lemonade stands at our local canning plant, mowing lawns, or selling peas and butterbeans by the bushel.
Coffee has been a constant in my life since childhood, thanks to my grandmother. Over the years, it became more than just a drink—it became a way of life. Eventually, a conversation with a mentor nudged me toward roasting my own beans, and after some providential timing, we found our first roaster in New Orleans and got to work.
Old Soul isn’t just about coffee. It’s about creating space in a hurried world to reflect, to be intentional, and to enjoy the moment. We believe in starting the day with purpose—and we hope every cup helps you do the same.
Fun fact: We found our first roaster on Facebook Marketplace by expanding the search radius to 500 miles. The next thing we knew, my wife and I were driving to New Orleans to pick it up. A hurricane hit that same area the very next weekend. Good coffee. Good timing.

What is The First Crack?
When the coffee beans are roasting, moisture is being pulled out.
The First Crack is when the water trapped inside the bean creates pressure as it turns into steam.
